Tangente

Reality appears as a single block
To navigate in front of me
I refuse…
And serpent in it
Words mingling
Into my steps
to alter
In a moment pulled forward at any time
And we find detours
Preludes and other structures
To Forget for a while
Ghosts of our life
In a soft cage
Dull as it might be
It Has to play with me
As another principle
To carry me in the sources
Of the detuned
To find new harmony
To fragment the monolith
As open and available
As lying horizontal inside
A stormy night
Pulses of air
On my wet skin
A wind charged
with rain’s sinking

Treasure

Treasure
I feel trackless
Is this my fate
in the seamless
Sunny day
Tomorrow is already today
Clouds appear and float but we ain’t tuned to them
I feel trackless and maybe i look clueless
But I’m not
And maybe this is my treasure
Could not imagine
Those rubbed chords
Could fit the light and the dark
Of my solitude
And maybe this is my treasure
Rivers cross on a temporary isle
A temporary isle
Before evaporating
And this is my treasure
Redeeming and
Filled with melancholia’s fuel
Et ça c’est mon trésor

Water's Shadow
04:11
|
|||
In water’s shadow
I bathe, in limbo
My voice floats a bit hollow
Extra diluted in digital
I long for another picture or symbol
And altered states
In Odile’s perils
The solitude fueled with hybridities
The cyclope staring at the ever transitional
The angel and the devil
Hand in hand in dark charcoal
In water’s shadow
With a caring and curious eye
Blindly inking

Licking the Breeze

|

licking the breeze
that lies under debilitating noise
reflecting on different forms of reality
locked in the tangent
alone
all alone
alienated

Zenithal Kiss

Wetter than the ocean
Hotter than the sun
Livelier than spring
Softer than skin
Brighter than light
Dryer than sand
Colder than ice
Meaner than life
Deeper than the abyss
Better than this
Heavier than earth
Stronger than a birth
Darker than death
Larger than love
Greater than above
Slower than night
Faster than a star
Further than here
Looser than the breeze
Prettier than the flower
Harder than rock
Noisier than the signal
Higher than ever

Cold Pull to the Unknown
04:34
|
|||
It’s a luxury not to have to use words
to tract your existence
Not to have to survive the inaccurate projections on yourself
As its a blessing to merge with the veiled truth
that’s always been there
it’s bewildering
and progressively immense
My voice that won’t pick a side
my body, a sea of binaries meeting in a question
My curves can be feminine
My body mass masculine
The way my hair fall on my head feminine
The beard colonizing my cheeks masculine
No we won’t keep it easy for you
They called me narcisse
Not knowing his unbound loving
I only tried to figure out
What I could be
With a laugh piercing the unknown
Softly guided by a gritty energy
Incorporating the edges
Resulting in a scream
Pouring into a dream
They had nothing to look for really
There'd be no question, while I had a ton
At all odds, an unconditional joy,
a mystery discovering itself
Now I want a love hitting like dawn
And the cold pull into the unknown to feel warm

Charles Wesley Lyon, France
Charles Wesley’s a recorder, composer, poet, and photographer.
Influenced by pop and industrial
music, he carves his own sonics to pull the strings of his queer identity in an age of global exhaustion. Spoken words and chants resonate in environments to celebrate love in growing beyond the status quo.
There’s some desolation clanging to his sound, still it cries out clear and euphoric.
